With the sun setting sooner due to Daylight Savings Time ending, nothing lights up the night like the annual Old Towne Orange Tree Lighting Ceremony. In the same way, nothing brings the citizens of Orange together like the traditional and exciting kickoff to the Christmas season.
Dan Slater had this to say about the event:
"I was fortunate to attend the 27th annual Tree lighting ceremony in the Plaza last night. It's always beautifully done, thanks to Mike Short (choir director) and the numerous choirs and orchestra he assembles. It's the best way to launch the Christmas season and get that "Christmas spirit" going!"
